On 13 November at 14.00 in the Meeting Room of the Institute of Geosciences and Earth Resources CNR (National Research Council) Research Area, Dr. Fabio Ferri, (EIT, European Institute of Innovation and Technology) will hold a workshop entitled: "EIT RawMaterials: The World's largest innovation community in the raw materials sector".

A brief description of the workshop is given below:

"EIT RawMaterials is the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide initiated and funded by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), a body of the European Union and part of the H2020 programme. The EIT mission is to develop raw materials into a major strength for Europe and to enable sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials. Partners of EIT RawMaterials are active across the entire raw materials value chain; from exploration, mining and mineral processing to substitution, recycling and circular economy. They collaborate on finding new, innovative solutions to secure the supplies and improve the raw materials sector in Europe.

The seminar will explain the structure of EIT Raw Materials and illustrate funding opportunities for researchers in innovation, education and business creation".
