The second version of the "Geological Map of Piemonte region" and related geodatabase (GeoPiemonte Map), realized by CNR IGG, DST UniTO, Arpa Piemonte and DIATI PoliTO, is now available on Arpa Piemonte Geoportal.
The second phase of the GeoPiemonte Map Project led to the realization of two new products: 1) the updating and implementation of the Database of the Geological Map of Piemonte region, also enriched with subsurface data provided by ENI. The Data Base can be consulted and downloaded from the WebGIS Service of the ARPA Piemonte Geoportal; 2) the graphic editing of the Geological Map of Piemonte region with the realization in printing of a boxed set about 18x25 cm in size, containing a copy of volume no. 41, 2017, of the Memoirs of the Academy of Sciences of Torino - Class of Physical and Natural Sciences, concerning the Illustrative Notes of the Geological Map of Piemonte region (Geological Map of Piemonte region at 1:250,000 scale - Explanatory Notes) of 143 pages; Geological Map of Piemonte region at 1:250,000 scale in A0 typographic format (four-color digital).
