The Italian NGO FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) has launched the campaign #salvalacqua (SaveWater) for 2018, aimed at promoting the awareness of citizens, administrations and government on the rational and sustainable use of water resources and the creation of a national strategy for water.
In the frame of this campaign, the FAI regional delegation has organised a meeting to present to the society the opinions of experts on the study, management and conservation of water resources. The meeting, sponsored by CNR and organized in collaboration with the CNR Institute of Geosciences and Earth Resources, will be held on November 30th in Pisa, at the Officine Garibaldi premises, via Gioberti 39.
1) The program is divided into two parts:During the morning, the general frame and future perspectives on major issues of water management will be presented;
2) In the afternoon, the state of water resources in Tuscany will be presented by various stakeholders in this field (experts, managers, researchers, regional authorities).
