Meeting "200 years of mixed crystals"

On May 22-23, the Accademia delle Scienze di Torino will host the meeting "200 years of mixed crystals"

On May 22-23, the Accademia delle Scienze di Torino will host the meeting "200 years of mixed crystals" organised by Roberta Oberti and Giovanni Ferraris.

In 1818, the discovery of co-crystallization revealed a new and very profitable way to explore differences beween atoms and molecules and to determine the crystal structure and crystal-chemistry of minerals and materials.

The properties of mixed crystals are still a topic for frontier researches in  Earth, planetary and materials sciences, as it will be discussed in the invited  talks delivered by Giovanni Ferraris, Livio Battezzati, Adriano Zecchina, Roberta Oberti, Giancarlo Della Ventura, Luca Bindi, Philippe D'Arco, Roberto Dovesi, Roberto Compagnoni, and Fabrizio Nestola.

Participation is free, and pre-registration is not required.
