The greatest potential for lithium minerals in the European region is probably hosted in the ancient rocks that make up the central part of this "middle land" squeezed between Europe and Russia that, despite the foreseeable geopolitical and environmental risks, has decided to study and investigate its subsoil, to fully participate in the challenge of energy transition. Andrea Dini, of the CNR Institute of Geosciences and Earth Resources, talks about the topic, recalling his collaboration with Ukrainian researchers in the new issue of the Almanacco della Scienza del CNR.
