On Monday 20 May at 4 p.m. at the Auditorium of the Research Area of Pisa, Mario Tozzi (Institute of Environmental Geology and Geoengineering, CNR) will held a conference entitled "From the Earth to the Moon, 50 years from the big step".

So close and yet so far, the Moon has always been an important point of reference for the Earth, only partly "revealed" with the first landing of man and with the next six missions.
How the Earth was seen from the Moon 50 years ago, when Neil Armstrong first set foot on the Moon? How the Moon's appearance has changed after many missions? What would happen if the Moon abandoned its orbit? Did the conquest of the Moon changed the Earthlings?

To these and many other questions, the scientist Mario Tozzi will answer, talking not only about the Moon, but also about the Earth seen from the Moon. As a geologist, Tozzi will also answer the most scientifically debated and important question: how was the Moon formed?

We're waiting for you!
