The "XXII Giornata dell'Acqua" was celebrated on 22 March. On the occasion of the conference entitled "THE MEDITERRANEAN SYSTEM A hotspot for climate change and adaptation" held at Palazzo Corsini in Rome (21-22 March), a report prepared by the Environment Commission of the Accademia dei Lincei focused on the Mediterranean Sea, defined as one of the most important hotspots vulnerable to climate change (AR6, WG1, 2021, chapter 10) and analysed both from a scientific point of view and in terms of adaptation measures.
