ORMA PROJECT "HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH - ACTION AT TUSCAN RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS"

The ORMA Project, funded by the Tuscany Region with Executive Decree No. 7426 of May 14, 2020, and launched on December 1, 2020, aims to train experts to support innovation, technology transfer, the promotion of research-business relationships, and European project planning. It also aims to strengthen local expertise in research-business integration, internationalization, technology transfer, innovation culture, technology monitoring and forecasting, and European project planning.
The consortium is composed of: CNR (Research Areas of Florence and Pisa), INGV, and INFN.
Eleven grants have been funded, three of which were awarded to the Pisa Research Area and divided into three paths: Trails (training and experience in identifying, inventing, and implementing innovation in the medical device sector), Climate (training a qualified professional in disciplines such as energy, ecology, and economics, and the levels at which these can be applied in terms of communication, internationalization, and technology transfer), and Eurolab (European project planning and internationalization).
Specifically, IGG is primarily participating in the CLIMATE path.
Here is the link to the first four videos in the series Transferring Sustainability – Pisa's CNR for Tuscan Businesses, produced as part of Katia Genovali's grant.
In this series, researchers from the Pisa Research Area in the fields of materials, ecology, earth sciences, and energy explain how scientific knowledge can be applied to improve the sustainability of products, processes, and services.
