Albanian Caves as archives of past Environments and climate
AL.ChEMi.ST (Albanian Caves as Archives of Past Environments and Climate: Exploring Their Potential for Scientific Research and Tourism Development) is a bilateral project between the CNR (National Research Council) and the Ministry of Education and Sport (MOES) of Albania for the two-year period 2021-2022.
The project involves the integrated study of Albanian speleothems, with the aim of exploring and developing the potential of Albanian caves as archives of past climatic and environmental variations, and with the aim of adequately enhancing their scientific, educational, and historical value.
