CNR-IGG researchers were invited by SEGEMAR (Geological and Mining Survey of Argentina) to perform training courses for technical-scientific staff in Geothermics. In particular, during the period of 28/08/2017 - 01/09/2017, Matteo Lelli (CNR-IGG) organized and performed a course on "Fluid Geochemistry applied to Geothermal Exploration" at SEGEMAR (Buenos Aires- Argentina). About 50 people were present among engineers, technicians and students from local Universities. This event represents the beginning of a collaboration that will be formalized by signing a Scientific Cooperation Agreement in order to promote joint projects in the geothermal field and in particular in exploration and exploitation studies of geothermal resources in various areas of Argentina. At the end of the course, the request for signature of the Scientific Cooperation Agreement was settled.
