ON THE ROCKS is the first Italian video contest, organized by the Italian Geological Society, dedicated to the geology, asking its participants to illustrate in 180 seconds their research, passions and/or new ideas on Earth. Contributions through animations, stop-motion, cartoons, time-lapse, interviews, music, poetry and dances will show to an audience of non-specialists, wonders, dangers and surprises of an adventurous trip through geological phenomena, indoor or outdoor, in laboratory, in the mountains, in the sea or in the space!
The contest is open to students, PhD students, researchers and geology buffs of all ages. You can send video up to 24:00 on 07.05.2017.
