The tremendous eruption of Tambora in Indonesia during April 1815 killed 60.000 people and caused in the entire world the famine and the discomfort of the "year without the sun".

On November 30, after two hundred years, MUSE museum in Trento organise a scientific talk and a special dinner on this subject. The volcanologist Claudia Principe will represent IGG-CNR at this event. More information on:
