The 25th edition of the Mantua Literature Festival has just concluded, with a great presence of themes related to environmental protection and climate change. In the radio program "Terre Rare", hosted by the journalist Nicola Feninno, writers and researchers discussed about the remote places of our Planet, such as the Arctic, Antarctica and climate change. 

In the episode "Ghiacci" (Ice), Filippo Tuenna, author of "Ultimo Parallelo" (Last Parallel), a novel about Scott's unsuccessful attempt to conquer the South Pole, talked with Silvia Giamberini, who conducts her research activities at the CNR base "Dirigibile Italia" of Ny Ålesund in Svalbard, in the Arctic.
